I activate the microcirculation
Dark circles appear when the network of capillary micro-vessels that irrigate the eye contour expands under the effect of heat, alcohol or fatigue. The red blood cells then cross the membrane, at a place where the skin is thin and transparent. And this creates a more or less dark halo depending on the nature and pigmentation of the skin. The parade ? A gel rich in draining active ingredients generous in flavonoids (ivy, butternut holly, horse chestnut) to decongest and eliminate cellular waste. And if their formula is delivered via a tip made of a metallic alloy with a cool effect, it's even better!
I hydrate without moderation
The skin around the eyes is four times thinner than that of the face, and its almost non-existent hydrolipidic film cannot protect it from attacks. As a result, she dehydrates much faster while having to deal with some 10,000 eye blinks a day. To maintain suppleness and comfort, and prevent fine lines from settling in this fragile area, bet on a treatment enriched with moisturizing agents, such as hyaluronic acid or vitamin B5, and soothing active ingredients, such as rose water. or cornflower, to erase the traces of fatigue. The right gesture: apply your care on the lower bony part and not flush with the eyelashes.
The homemade trick: tea bags to activate the circulation
Don't throw away your used green tea bags! Place them in the refrigerator and use them as compresses for 10 minutes to reactivate circulation.
Another method, small iced spoons or slices of cucumber, also decongestant.
I adopt a smoothing anti-aging
By dint of laughing, smiling... the fine lines in the corner of the eyes are marked and end up being seen even at rest. The dermis in this area is indeed very poor in support proteins and needs to be nourished and hydrated for a lifting and relaxing effect. To boost the production of collagen, which will densify and restructure the tissues, bet on a treatment concentrated in smoothing tensor agents and regenerating active ingredients such as royal jelly, vitamin C or peptides, which will coat the eyelid and smooth out fine lines. To be applied by stretching the crow's feet upwards and downwards, with the fingertips.
I camouflage like a pro
Concealer is the best friend of dull and tired eyes. It is applied according to the 3 V method: one placed under each eye and the last placed on the chin then blurred to create a light effect. In terms of shade and texture, choose it slightly lighter than your complexion, added with blurring agents to cover and illuminate in a single gesture. And remember that if you can correct redness or fade an imperfection with concealer, it is better not to use a concealer around the eyes: thicker and more covering, it will tend to mark the features and weigh down the face. Are your dark circles dark? Mix a dash of orange lipstick with the concealer to neutralize them.
I protect myself from blue light
Produced by LED lamps and screens (computers, tablets, mobiles, e-readers, etc.), blue light is characterized by a wavelength capable of penetrating deep into tissue to degrade elastin and collagen fibers. To keep it at a distance, limit your exposure to screens and adopt a protective and moisturizing treatment responsible for preventing and limiting damage to the epidermis. Another parade, bet on a treatment enriched with butterfly tree flower extract (a photo-protective Chinese plant), shield peptides or dragon's blood, a South American plant very rich in antioxidants.
I patch for an express glow
Smoothing and revitalizing, concealer patches come to the rescue of dull eyes to plump up and boost micro-circulation, with a guaranteed healthy glow. Impregnated with a high concentration of moisturizing (hyaluronic acid, konjac root...), draining (caffeine, horse chestnut...) or anti-fatigue (cornflower, passionflower...) ingredients, they provide immediate action thanks to an optimal penetration of active ingredients. Their fabric or gel structure prevents the formula from coming into contact with the air, which increases its effectiveness, while limiting its evaporation. Just leave them on for ten minutes to benefit from their illuminating power.
I firm up my skin with a mask
Highly concentrated in smoothing and anti-fatigue active ingredients, the formulas dedicated to the eye contour are applied once or twice a week to the periorbital area. In a quarter of an hour, the tissues are rehydrated, dark circles faded, the number and depth of folds reduced. But above all, their tensing agents immediately re-mesh and densify the contour! In the SOS version, they can be left on all night in a thick layer and tapped deliremove the excess with your fingertips when you wake up to reactivate circulation.
Adopt a healthy lifestyle
There are two types of dark circles. The first appears when we are tired. It is therefore combated by improving the quantity and quality of sleep. It is recommended for this to sleep in well ventilated rooms, not too heated, and to stay well hydrated. In addition, it is necessary to restrict the consumption of alcohol or sleeping pills, which limit the movements of the eyeball during the night, and prevent the good circulation of blood and lymph.
The second stems from overpigmentation of the skin and is often due to poor circulation. To mitigate it, it is a question of strengthening it by consuming foods such as garlic, turmeric, ginger or green tea, rich in polyphenols. Without forgetting draining massages and good protection of the area against UV rays thanks to sunglasses and sunscreens.
